Could you let me know the unlocking code to unlock my daughters phone which she received for christmas.

There are conditions. Usually the networks require you have the phone a certain length of time or have spent a said amount on credit. Bill phones won't be unlocked when they are still in contract.

Hi,

No unfortunately she has not spent E130 on credit just yet - she is only 11.  She doesn't text or talk on the phone she uses the email to contact her friend but still seems to be going through credit and downloads free apps so I think it is the 3G that is eating the credit.  Any suggestions on how to reduce this - can you switch off the 3G on the phone?

Yes, just push and hold the power button on the side. Then select 'data network mode'. Directly underneath it will tell you if it's activated or not

Just to add : If you have Wi-Fi at home, she can download and email all she wants with no charges

Hi Daniel,

Yes we do have the wi-fi and she was using that but if we were on the move from home the 3G comes in to place and this is were the charges occur. Have myself up to speed now. Thanks for all your help.
