Cancelling bill pay and return of €50 deposit

I gave meteor my 30 days' notice to cancel my bill plan on 17th September. I spoke to an agent by phone and emailed cancellations@meteor.ie However, I have had no response as to what the procedure is next. When will my bill be cancelled? And when will my €50 deposit be returned? Will I have to get a new sim when I switch back to PAYG or will my bill sim still work. I am leaving Ireland in 2 weeks and need to get this sorted ASAP. Thanks!

Hi Mish,

I have checked your account and see that you are sheduled to switch to PAYG on the 17/10/2012.

 

You won't need a new sim you will automatically transferred from Billpay to PAYG on the 17th.

 

Once your account is cancelled and your final bill is paid get back in touch and we can organize your deposit to be transferred into your bank account.
